Our Professional
Services
How can we help you?
Translation Services
We offer a variety of translation services for individuals, private companies, and non-profit organizations. Our certified and experienced professional translators and proofreaders, along with best management practices, ensure accuracy, high quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
All translators are native speakers.
Interpretation Services
Our interpreters are tested, trained, and certified. They are accredited by the Ministry of the Attorney General of Canada and the Immigration and Refugee Board. We can offer services face-to-face or via Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype. Our agency also provides American Sign Language interpretation services across Ontario and Canada.
DTP Services
We offer a range of DTP services including extraction of text from formats such as InDesign, QuarkXPress, and PDF, as well as comprehensive multilingual DTP services using the most up-to-date and appropriate page layouts. Our team can design graphic layouts specific to any language and also handle manuscript conversion between different formats, including cross-platform conversions. In addition, we can assist with converting files from PageMaker or QuarkXPress to InDesign.
Translation Order, Step-by-Step
Estimate and Draft
Please email a clear copy of your documents in PDF or JPG format, along with a request for an estimate. Allow us 1-3 hours to prepare the estimate for you. As soon as the estimate is ready, we will contact you by email or phone.
Placing Order
If the estimate and turnaround time for translating your documents meets your expectations, you can make a payment (e-transfer is preferable). Once the order is paid, we will proceed with the translation. When the translation is completed, we will send you a preliminary draft via email for your review.
Final Steps
After the draft is reviewed and approved, we will email you a scan of the translated document. A paper copy will be mailed to the provided address. The estimate already includes the regular mail fee, but XpressPost is also available for expedited postage (additional fee will apply).
Interpretation Order, Step-by-Step
Placing Order
Email or call to book an interpreter. Please be ready to provide the following information:
– Date of the assignment
– Place of the assignment
– Language you need
– Duration of the assignment
Payment Options
As soon as we assign an interpreter, we will contact you and request payment (e-transfer is preferred). The standard rule is to book for at least 2 hours, even if the assignment is shorter than that. For legal cases or hearings, bookings must be for at least 3 hours.
Useful Tips
- We do not provide a personal phone number of interpreter. All contacts must go through the agency.
- Please do not ask for advice or consultation as the interpreter’s role is solely to interpret.
- If there is any conflict of interest, please make a statement before beginning the assignment.
